About Bronach of Kildare, OP

Persona

Bronach of Kildare is a 9th century Irish woman. She was abandoned at a young age, and was thus raised by the church and town of Kildare. During her time there, she learned to read and write, and began to study with the scribes and assist with the manuscripts. It was at this time that the Danish Vikings arrived and destroyed the town with fire and sword. Bronach was taken as prisoner for her beauty. Through her charming nature, her hard work ethic, and her eagerness to help people, she convinced the Vikings that she would be a great addition to their group if she were free. They saw wisdom in this and freed her, allowing her to live among them as an equal. Bronach then began to share her knowledge, and learn from them. She has taken up arms on the field with her Viking brethren, preferring bow and arrow as her weapon of choice. Her love of both Irish and Viking cultures is reflected in her interests. She continues to pursue her scribal arts, and has taken a recent interest in the fiber arts. As she has received help from so many in her young life when she had no family or money, she continues to give of herself to all who need assistance.
Bronach is a member of the Order of the Pelican and resides in the Barony of Wyvernwoode.

Fragrances

I generally don’t wear perfume often. I dislike overly floral or powdery scents. No patchouli. Most strong fragrances will trigger headaches/migraines and breathing issues.
